My work usually begins by cutting into pre-painted papers directly from observation. The paper cut outs are then used to print with or to stencil or as collage materials.
I try not to have any preconceived idea of how works will evolve , but allow them to meander on an intuitive journey through layering, playing with positive and negative shapes and compositional experiments.
